Physical Space:
Large rectangular room.
All walls have whiteboards with a tack strip going around the room to hang posters and student work.
10 student computers (laptops) that are stationed in the technology corner.
The classroom library would have classroom supplies: calculators, manipulatives, textbooks, resource books, cds, and dvds for students to explore and extend their learning.
Students would have desks arranged in rows for direct instruction, arranged in pods for group work and differentiation.
The teacher table would be a station to be used for performance assessments and small-group instruction
